I am a person who loves to have a good family time. That’s why I dedicate my whole Sunday with my family. As you know that nowadays how busy we are in our lives. So, I really don’t compromise my own time, which I always spend with my family. As the jobs are shrinking, so nowadays people are even working on Saturdays. Gone are the times when we used to have two holidays in a week. i.e. Saturday and Sunday.
However, Sunday is not a free day though. As on each Sunday you have to prepare for going to church as well. After coming back from Church, I always try to give something special to my family. Hence, on each Sunday, I cook something different.
My kids also like other kids food lover. They especially like pancakes. My kids like bacon and hash brown the most. On the other side, my husband is the die hard fan of waffles. And sometimes, it happens that he requests me to make a coffee cake. He is so demanding, he sometimes even asks for making a coffee of Cinnamon.
Last yesterday, I made a Gluten Free Apple Cake. I thought to share the recipe with you. So take a paper and note down the recipe. I hope you will like this experience.
Gluten Free Apple Cake Recipe
This cake that I am going to prepare today can be served to 10 to 12 people.
• You will need 3/4 cup of Gluten free flour blend
• 1/4 cup of Sugar (Organic Brown)
• 1/4 cup of organic cane sugar
• 1/3 cup of Coconut Oil
• 1 1/2 teaspoons of Ground Cinnamon
• One and a half cups , plus Gluten free flour
• Baking Powder : 1 teaspoon
• Baking Soda: Half teaspoon
• Salt: half teaspoon.
• Unprocessed Coconut Milk. 3/4
• Apple Cider Vinegar: 1 tablespoon
• Organic Cane Sugar : 3/4 cup
• Unprocessed Applesauce: 1/4 cup
• Canola / Sunflower Oil : 1/4 cup
• Extract of Pure Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
• 2 apples. They should be peeled, thinly slices and cored.
• Organic Sugar (Powdered) : 1 cup
• Water: 2-3 of tablespoons
After that you have gathered all ingredients, now its time to heat up your oven up to around 350 degrees. Then you will prepare 9” spring form pan with the help of cooking spray.
In order to make Cinnamon Crumble Topping cake, you will need to place ¾ cups of flour. Also add brown sugar, coconut oils, sugar. All these ingredients are to be mixed in mixing bowl.
Now it’s time to mix up all these ingredients with the help of fork or pastry cutter.
After that, you will sift 1 ½ cups plus two tablespoons of flour. In addition to that you will also mix up baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Take another separate bowl and mix coconut milk with apple cider vinegar. Mix them till they turn into curdled shape. Also, you will mix up sugar, vanilla extract, applesauce and oil into it. In this mixture, you will be adding flour mixture and start to stir it so that it can combine together.
Then it’s time to pour batter into the prepared pan. Top it along with thinly sliced apples. The better practice is to to do that in a shape of even layer.
Then it’s time to sprinkle crumbs which will be placed over the apples. Then you will bake your cake for the period of 50 minutes.
After the cake is baked, then you will keep it on a cooling rack so that it may cool down. This should take almost 15 minutes. When it gets cool down, then you will mix up water and powdered sugar into it. Then drizzle it over the warm cake. It’s now ready, just slice it and serve to your dear ones.
